Plans are underway for the foundation's 2012 Global telecast concert event celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Titanic.
The 100th anniversary telecast global event will be staged simultaneously at Madison Square Garden - The World's Most Famous Arena in the heart of New York City, the celebrated Wembley Stadium in London, and the Odyssey Arena-The largest indoor concert arena in Ireland.
The concert and telecast events will also extend beyond the boarders of America to the international communities that share the spirit of hope in making dreams come true; bringing together more than 2 billion people worldwide from the stage concerts of Sydney, Tokyo, Shanghai, Janeiro, Johannesburg, Hamburg and Rio.
A landmark audience of viewers from around the world will be united to experience the excitement of the Titanic’s 100th anniversary on 12/12/12. The last time in modern history that recorded the magical date 12/12/12 was on 12/12/1912, the year of the Titanic tragedy.
Viewers worldwide will watch the Titanic’s 2012 telecast concerts via live webcasts, television, and the concert venues. On-demand footage of all performances, along with artist interviews, backstage footage, easy searching capabilities for specific songs, artists and more, will be available of all official concerts for the celebration.
Millions of people from around the world will join together to celebrate the message of hope and making dreams come true commemorating the spirit of the hope of those aboard the Titanic; vying for a piece of the American Dream.
"There is a Titanic that we raise when we rise from our beds to make our dreams come true", is a celebrated theme that engages all to participate in this global event.
